Natalia Vilela

Digital Communications Specialist

Natalia Vilela is the Digital Communications Specialist at the Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-CAP). Having focused on storytelling and branding within the nonprofit realm over the past decade, Natalia aims to continue amplifying community-empowering initiatives through visual communications here at H-CAP.

With their experience in nonprofit communications and certification in graphic design, Natalia has contributed significantly towards the evolution and voice of organizations throughout their previous roles. Prior to joining the H-CAP team in the summer of 2024, Natalia was a Communications Manager at the National Guild for Community Arts Education, where they managed the curation, design, and experience of published content. Before then, her communications work at Justice in Motion—a nonprofit promoting cross-border justice for migrants in Mexico and Central America—amplified the organization’s intensive, on-the-ground efforts in reuniting families forcibly separated at the US-Mexico border in the late 2010s.

Natalia earned a BA in Journalism from Hofstra University and a certificate from the Shillington School of Graphic Design.
