Isabela Aldana

 

Program Manager 

Isabela Aldana is a Registered Apprenticeship Program Manager at H-CAP. She partners primarily with California-based organizations and labor-management training funds to develop and expand apprenticeship programs.  
 

Before joining H-CAP, Isabela spent over a decade with the SEIU-UHW Education Fund. In her role as a Regional Coordinator, she successfully expanded access and utilization of the fund for union members in California, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico.  
 

Isabela was part of the creation of the first registered apprenticeship program for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, which paved the way for similar programs in the region. She also worked with regional partners to develop evening and weekend programs and short-term certificate training to accelerate employment eligibility. These initiatives made education and training more accessible to working adults and showcased the benefits for employers investing in the growth of their workforce.   


She holds a master’s degree in counseling and student services from California State University, Fresno, and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
